Nov 09 - Resource sports pink for charity

Sporting shocking pink hair, powder pink tutus and cerise feather boas, the Resource team pulled out all the stops in a bid to raise cash for charity.

Staff went all out to support Cancer Research's Breast Cancer Awareness Day with their own ‘Wear It Pink' event.

The team ransacked their wardrobes to dig out their most vibrant pink clothes and accessories. Everyone taking part handed over a £2 charity donation for the pleasure of being able to dress in pink for the day.

Gail Weathers of Resource Print Solutions said: "Everyone supported the event wholeheartedly and we had a lot of fun and managed to raise a lot of money for a good cause."

All money raised during the day has gone to Cancer Research's work to improve breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Resource is well known for its work within the community. As part of its strong Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, the company is also heavily committed to supporting local community groups and is a sponsor of regional sports clubs including the Leeds Rhinos and Bramley Buffaloes.
