Nov 09 - Making it to the Small Screen

Leeds based marketing services providers, Resource, have become small screen stars appearing on Channel 4.

Managing Director, Phil Thompson, featured in TV's Political Slot interviewed by prospective Labour candidate for Leeds West, Rachel Reeves. The interview is now featured on YouTube. In the short film Phil reveals how Resource have been tackling the challenges thrown up by the recession.

Rachel's film, which focuses on businesses in Leeds, looks at how firms have been affected by the economic downturn.

Phil explains how the marketing and printing services provider is bucking the trend and following funding from the Government has been able to buy equipment to allow Resource to grow. A cash grant had allowed the company to purchase machinery that had allowed it to bring additional services in-house to benefit customers.

Added Phil: "We are also working with local schools and ideally want to find one individual that can join us on an apprenticeship or who we can sponsor through college over the next 12 months."
