PUPILS BROUGHT TO BOOK AT PRINT FIRM!

Sixteen pupils from Bramley Primary School have recently experienced the world of printing first hand as they prepare to produce their very own book!

The children are taking part in a project organised by Education Leeds and were given a tour around Resource Print Solutions (RPS) where they each received a set of personalised business cards.

Claire Barton, a Year Six teacher from Bramley Primary School, explained: "The book project involves creating a book from poems written by the pupils that will then be sold to raise funds for the school and local charities.

"The tour around RPS gave each of the children an understanding of the processes involved in printing your own publications from the design and layout to production of the finished article," added Claire.

Alex Brittain, Account Manager with RPS, said: "We have always been very engaged with the local community and were only too happy to welcome the children to our HQ on Bath Lane in Bramley."

RPS delivers a comprehensive range of design, printing and mailing services and already holds accreditations for Quality (ISO 9001 & ISO12647-2), Environment (ISO 14001) and Investors in People (IIP) and is a member of British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF).
