Dress-down-Friday is set to take on new meaning at Resource on 30th October. For the team has pledged to don huge cerise wigs, powder pink tutus and pink t-shirts all in the name of charity.

The day marks Cancer Research's Breast Cancer Awareness Day and Resource are helping the charity by holding their own ‘Wear It Pink' day.

The marketing and printing services provider will be handing out pink t-shirts to all staff so that there's no excuse not to get in the spirit of the day. Others, meanwhile, have already jumped wholeheartedly into the fun by volunteering to delve into the depths of their wardrobes to show off their shocking pink clothes and accessories.

Everyone taking part will hand over a £2 charity donation for the pleasure of being able to dress in pink for the day. And for those who opt out? Well, they'll be asked to pay a forfeit and dig even deeper into their pockets for the charity!

"It promises to be a lot of fun for everyone and it's all for a very good cause,” explained Gail Weathers, HR Manager, of Resource Print Solutions. “And as an added bonus all the money raised on the day will be doubled by the company."

The national Cancer Research event is hoping companies like Resource will be holding their own fundraising activity to support the cause. All money raised during the day will help fund research to improve breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
