The challenge

After a three-way pitch to maximise savings, Salix Homes appointed Resource Housing to help reduce their expenditure and to get a better return on investments for their newsletters, which are published throughout the year. Improving tenant engagement and the content quality of the newsletter was of equal importance.

Our solution

By performing a free print audit for the group we found that by combining the newsletter mailing with the quarterly rent statements and distributing them together we could instantly save the group thousands of pounds per year! And because we already designed and printed all the newsletters and the rent statements in-house, bringing the two items together was achieved with the minimum of fuss to Salix. We also introduced an interactive e-zine that helps give tenants even greater access to the online newsletter and the information Salix heavily want to promote each quarter.
